The Race

03 Sep

She ran
Further and further
Til her heart could take no more
A pause
And then arched forward
As if to take on the world
Afraid, little girl
Over mountains
Under seas
Her mind only wanted to be free
Rub against the breeze
Step by step
Catch up pace
And then again
She ran
the race
